What is ClearWater TA Plus used for?

ClearWater TA Plus is used to raise Total Alkalinity levels if they drop below 80ppm.

Total Alkalinity is a buffer that helps the water to resist pH changes. Well-balanced Total Alkalinity of 80-100ppm results in stable pH and more efficient sanitiser. Incorrect Total Alkalinity can result in fluctuating pH levels, less effective chlorine, the water may cause irritation to user and it may cause damage to your pool or hot tub.

How does Clearwater TA increaser work?

ClearWater TA Plus is an alkalinity increaser that adds alkaline substances to neutralise acids, preventing rapid changes in pH.

Clearwater TA Plus - Quick Start Guide:

Step 1: Test water. If Total Alkalinity levels are lower than 80pm, use TA Plus

Step 2: Measure the quantity you need (refer to the label). 18g of TA Plus per 1000L of water will raise Total Alkalinity by 10ppm

Step 3: Dissolve TA Increaser granules in a container of warm water. Pour dissolved mixture into the hot tub.

Step 4: Run the filter and leave for 4hrs. Retest and repeat if needed.
